before coming to hong kong i set a personal goal of what i wanted my photos to look like and turn into while i was abroad

i’m not sure if it’s because hong kong makes it extremely easy to shoot because of how much character the city has, or if my eye is actually developing a bit more

it’s most likely a combination of both (maybe more the former) but regardless i’m happy because i can finally see that i’m taking the first step in the right direction.

i’ve also been improving a lot with street photography and becoming more comfortable with it. even though i’m nowhere near good and i still have a lot to improve, i can definitely see growth in my photos and that is one of the best feelings in the world.
